That's the name of the TJ dance concert held on Friday.. Went with pris, bev, jinx and his cousin? Niece? Called Denise.. She's from SCGP!! (: Really cute and smart, though evil pris kept tormenting her.. D< Stop pinching her cheeks!! Anyways I was quite disappointed by the show.. The design of the ticket and the name's kinda misleading.. Expected more ballet-ish dances but most of them were modern.. -_- Guess that's why it's called the Modern Dance Club.. And I thought I saw jing yu before the show, but I wasn't sure if she's her, and didn't want to embarrass myself =/Hmmm.. Some of the dances were good, though. Liked the last one (Simple Gifts), and Kyur4 The Itch (no typos here), but the one I loved most is, unfortunately, not by TJ dance.. It's by NUS dance (: The Lindy Hop ensemble was nice too! The stunts were like what you'd see on So You Think You Can Dance.. Speaking of which, it could be why I found the dance concert disappointing.. Or it could be that I'm used to SC's style of dance.. Which is the best, btw x)
Oh yeah, forgot to talk about what happened before the concert.. School ended at 11.55 (for me, anyway), and me, sylvia and esther went TM to eat, and had originally planned to go support pris's badminton match.. OH YES. PRIS! She's the latest banner-girl for TJ!! Just take a drive past TJ, and your eyes will automatically be drawn to the HUGE, LONG BANNER at the front.. And then you'd see a girl lying on the grassfield, with her head resting on one hand.. That's pris. She's the only one featured in that banner!! LMAO!! We first saw it on the way back to school after swimming, and pris screamed when she saw that.. Apparently she didn't expect the banner to be so huge.. *snickers* Well, it is! And it's most prolly going to be there for a looooooooooong time!! HAH!
We arrived at PastaMania, only to realise that the students' offer starts at 2.. It was 1 at that time. So we decided to stroll to Tampines Sports Hall to support the badminton team, but the hall was SWELTERINGLY HOT! Could feel rivulets of sweat flowing down my back.. Eurgh. TJ girls were playing against RJ btw.. We lost 3-2.. =/ *hugs pris* Don't be so hard on yourself, yeah??
Hmmm.. After the dance concert we decided to go suntec for supper (: Wanted to eat at Ben and Jerry's but got distracted by _____. I'm not supposed to say where we ate.. Anyways jinx treated me and pris x) Prissy's fav and cookie monster mudpie!! YUM! Though I prefer cake to mudpie.. Elmer Fudge.. *drools* And eurgh.. I was wearing prissy's pumps at first, but they were too small, so we swapped and I wore bev's mom's heels instead.. And then they started teasing me about my 'supermodel legs' -_- Bloody hell!! Pris and jinx started plotting my demise (a makeover!! *shudders*), so that I can be a model.. *rolls eyes* Apparently jinx is going to sponsor half of the makeover so that 50% of my future modelling earnings can go to him.. Good thing they were kidding -_- I think. x_X
I DON'T WANT TO BE A MODEL!!!! I'm too smart for that xD
